Mel and Siah’s wedding was filled with many “quiet,” beautiful moments: Mel tearing up when she saw Siah for the first time. The way Siah and Mel looked at each other as she circled him during the beginning of their Jewish ceremony. The best man hiding his tears in the background during their first look. And, even though Mel said Josiah would NOT cry during the ceremony, I swear I saw something glisten in his eye as she approached him down the aisle.
These are the moments I love to see, capture, and remember at weddings.
Mel & Siah: Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day. I had a blast working with the actors and glamourous girls :) Wishing you all the best.
I LOVE birdcage veils. Mel and Siah were going for a “Hollywood glamour” theme. I think her veil and red lipstick nailed it!
The next three images are by Sarah, who helped me out at this wedding. She is not only a friend of mine from Syracuse, but also a fabulous wedding photographer herself!
Sarah’s perspective of the first look^
^ My perspective. I love the best man behind who was crying more than the groom. Adorable.
So glamourous, Mel!
The image above is another one of Sarah’s grabs.
The image above screams Mel to me ;)
The best man’s speech was a tad bit…interesting? :) See Mel’s reaction.
Siah was really excited to cut the cake.
Mel and Siah’s nieces are ADORABLE. I must have taken at least 100 pictures of the two of them.
Congrats Mel and Josiah! I hope you enjoyed Jamaica! :)
