BRAZDA WEDDING {cross my heart}

Caitlin and Jason held their gorgeous rustic wedding at Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan last month.  I don’t know how she did it, but Caitlin managed to plan everything (I’m sure with the help of her groom) in the midst of med school!

Even with the threat of rain all day, everything was incredibly beautiful.

Caitlin and I graduated from high school together AND we have the same hairdresser.   :)

Jenn helped me out again (thank you!) and grabbed the two shots below of the guys getting ready:

I LOVE first looks.  It started to rain immediately after the ceremony, so I was VERY happy that we had time to grab these photos of the two of them before the rain hit!  Jenn captured Caitlin from above, and I photographed Jason on the ground.

Caitlin planned another first look with her dad and brother.  I love this shot above that Jenn grabbed while I shot the one below.

Caitlin’s a good sport.  They proposed to take a photo on the edge of the gate, and I was slightly worried because there was a HUGE mud puddle behind her.  One misstep, and she would be in the mud.  Instead, the gate broke (!) and she fell forward.  It was pretty hilarious at the time.  Thankfully, no harm done.

I love this moment of Caitlin & her dad above (taken by Jenn) right before Caitlin walked down the aisle.

Jason, your grandfather stole the show. I think Jenn and I have at least 20 shots of just him on the wedding day!

Caitlin’s father showed his Corn Husker spirit during his toast.

RSVP events did a phenomenal job with the linens, planning, and coordination.
