I don’t even know where to start with Ingrid and Nathan’s Chicago wedding. I have to honestly say that it was one of my favorite weddings that I’ve ever shot. The wedding reflected so much of who they are and the love they share for each other. There were so many moments and so much LOVE weaved in throughout the day that it just made everything come together beautifully.
Ingrid and Nathan are probably two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Both of them are nurses, so in their very nature they care for others above themselves. They moved to Alaska last year, and their visit home was incredibly emotional. You can see the true joy that everyone experienced watching these two tie the knot :)
Ingrid & Nathan: It’s been such a blessing to get to know the two of you. Thank you so much for flying me out to Chicago to capture your wedding day! Someday we’ll make it to Alaska to have coffee ;) I can’t wait to see all the BIG things that God has planned for your lives together!
^ Ingrid and her mom at the salon in the morning. I love how they laugh in pictures.
Ingrid’s sister did a fabulous job on her makeup!
Her mom’s reaction to putting on the wedding gown.
I love the above snap.
First look :)
We were trying to get Ingrid’s veil to catch the wind, and it went the opposite direction, flying over Nathan! It was hilarious.
All of Ingrid’s bridesmaids are SO sweet :)
Gotta love the orange + blue + suspenders.
I was tearing up a little bit looking through this part of the edit.
Father-daugher dance. They are SO cute.
Nathan broke it down for the garter.
This is what happens when Ingrid’s brother tries to take my camera to get me on the dance floor. haha :)
