PHOTO FIELD TRIP /// EL CAPITAN CANYON, CALIFORNIA

kaley from kansas

I signed up for Photo Field Trip a few months ago with hopes of creative rejuvenation, new friendships, and a fresh learning opportunity.  It was designed to be an alternative experience, and I wanted a place to refresh myself before wedding season begins.

I found all of the above and so much more.

Photo Field Trip was…

Embracing nature.
Truly getting to know other creatives.
Free coffee and acoustic guitars.
Laughter.
Rain, mud, rain, and more rain.
Epic dance parties.
Lip-syncing contests (which I somehow rapped to “Thrift Shop” and won).
Campfires.
Late nights.  Early mornings.
Exploration.
Developing Film.
Ocean Swells.
Hiking Hills.
Fresh ways of thinking.
Cabin living.
New Friends.

I didn’t shoot too much on my camera because I wanted to fully experience the trip.  Most of these images are from my phone and our extra day in L.A. where we played and took portraits.
