It was an honor to help celebrate Vikki and Craig’s 24th wedding anniversary with a portrait session.  Vikki admitted that they had really had any photos taken since their wedding day.  It was inspirational to see their love so strong and young giddiness after almost a quarter of a century of marriage.

V&C:  I had a really wonderful time getting to know the two of you!  Thanks for letting me capture your relationship and preserve another chapter of your life.  It was fun crawling through the thickest field I’ve ever walk through with y’all. :)

It’s been a crazy week of amazing features!  I got exciting news over the weekend that I was selected along with 50 other photographers to be featured in Junebug Weddings’ annual best of the best contest.  They feature some of the best photographers in the world in these contests, so it’s a huge honor to be chosen!

Randomly, Lacey + Paul’s office-themed wedding from three years ago was featured on Huffington Post in honor of the end of The Office series on NBC.

It was such an honor to be a part of Kim and Kris’ intimate wedding in Anguilla.  They had 50 of their closest family and friends join them at Viceroy Anguilla for an unforgettable event.  By the end of the weekend, I felt like I was part of the family, as everyone was so friendly and accommodating and made sure I was a part of every event.

It was the rainy season in Anguilla, and the clouds quickly appeared when the ceremony was about to begin.  Thankfully, the rain held off until it was time for dinner.  It was heartwarming to watch everyone help move all the place settings and chairs from outside into Aleta for a dry dinner.

But, the rain didn’t stop the party!

At least half of the guests ended up in the pool and on the dance floor in a torrential downpour.  It was awesome.  After 21 complaints about the loud noise coming from the AMAZING party…the week finally came to an end.

K+K:  Thank YOU for such an incredible weekend in Anguilla!  I had a wonderful time getting to know the two of you and your families.  Best wishes in your marriage :)

I love how Katie and Luke make each other laugh…constantly.  Had a ball celebrating with them today at Carrigan Farms.  More to come soon!

I had the pleasure of getting to know Rachel and Aaron a little better last week on a gorgeous spring day in Belmont, NC.  These two will be tying the knot in Chicago next March!  I actually know Aaron from elementary school way back in the day and from our church family helping support his parents as missionaries in Kenya for many years.

R&A:  It was a blast running around downtown Belmont + fields with y’all!  I’m so excited for you both!  May God bless this time in your life as you plan for your wedding and marriage :)

I had a blast running around Raleigh with these two last week.  It was peak pollen season, so Jeffrey and I were sniffling and sneezing.  Thankfully, they are troopers because we rolled around in the grass and woods with the yellow dusting everywhere.  Oh, and I climbed a tree for the first time for a shoot.  It was fun.

E&J:  Can’t wait for September!  Thanks for a fun shoot!  I loved meeting your pups and getting to know the two of you a bit better :)
